Peshawar (News Desk) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has stated that since a committee has been formed for negotiations, it seems they are seeking a resolution to the issues at hand. He emphasized, “I am not involved in backdoor dealings; I am an open book.”

Speaking to the media after a meeting of the government and opposition’s negotiation committee, Gandapur said that PTI workers had sacrificed their blood for democracy and were martyred in the struggle for true freedom.

He praised the release of those involved in the May 9 incidents, calling it a positive step. He stressed the importance of resolving matters through democratic means, adding that the negotiations had been initiated at the behest of the PTI founder, and the founder would decide the terms of the negotiations.

On the issue of Kurram, Gandapur noted that the problems there were not recent but had persisted for over 50 years. He assured that the situation in Kurram had been handled smoothly and effectively.
