Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that the government is not intimidated by anyone, and those who spread unrest will be arrested.

Minister Naqvi visited D-Chowk in Islamabad to review security arrangements, where he also mentioned that a foreign delegation is expected to arrive in Pakistan shortly.

Regarding PTI’s planned protests, the Interior Minister made it clear that any protester attempting to cause disruptions will be immediately detained.

Naqvi assured that efforts are being made to minimize the inconvenience to the citizens of Islamabad. He confirmed that mobile phone services are operational, although data services have been suspended. He also stated that everything is running smoothly across the country, including in Punjab.

The minister added that police have already arrested protesters attempting to gather at Faizabad.
