Bulawayo: Pakistan’s bowlers delivered a commanding performance in the second T20 of the three-match series, restricting Zimbabwe to a paltry 57 runs in just 12.4 overs.

Zimbabwean skipper Sikandar Raza won the toss and opted to bat first, a decision that backfired as the hosts’ batting lineup collapsed like a house of cards. Nine Zimbabwean batters failed to reach double figures, with Bryan Bennett (21) and Tadiwanashe Marumani (16) being the only notable contributors.

For Pakistan, young pacer Sufiyan Muqeem was the standout performer, taking 5 wickets for just 3 runs in a sensational spell. Abbas Afridi claimed 2 wickets, while Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, and skipper Salman Ali Agha took one wicket each.

Pakistan fielded an unchanged XI for the second match, led by Salman Ali Agha, and featuring Saim Ayub, Ameer bin Yousuf, Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir, Irfan Khan, Jahandad Khan, Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, and Sufiyan Muqeem.

Pakistan, already leading the series 1-0, is in a commanding position. They won the first T20 by 57 runs and now require just 58 runs to seal the series.
