Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has once again found herself in the spotlight, this time for publicly rejecting an apology from fellow actress Zarnish Khan following a recent controversy.
The drama unfolded when Zarnish Khan, during an appearance three years back on the show Voice Over Man, took a jab at Alizeh, saying:
“I think Alizeh Shah would win against anyone if there was a competition for being rude.”The remark quickly gained attention, prompting Alizeh to respond indirectly by sharing a quote from Islamic scholar Mufti Menk, which emphasized ignoring judgmental people and trusting in a higher power.
Realizing the impact of her words and the old feud between the two, Zarnish now privately reached out to Alizeh to express her regret. In a heartfelt message, she wrote:
“Hi Alizey, I know this is out of the blue, but I’m extremely remorseful for saying something silly in the spur of the moment on OVM. Please forgive me. I’m willing to publicly apologize if that helps. I also want to apologize to your mom, as she was really hurt by it. I’m truly sorry—it was a thoughtless thing to say. I love you and hold you in high regard. Stay blessed. Always.”
However, Alizeh Shah did not accept the apology and responded sharply:
“It won’t fix the damage you did. I DO NOT forgive you. What did I ever say to you? Just to fix your hair so you look better on screen? When my mother used to feed me, she also fed you with her own hands. I never said or did anything wrong to you. They weren’t paying you to talk badly about me, but you still did. Khuda sab dekh raha hai (God is watching everything).”
