Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, known for her high-profile relationships, once harbored a crush on a prominent Indian politician long before she married actor Saif Ali Khan.
In a recent revelation, Kareena admitted that during her early days in the film industry, she was keen to meet and even date Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. This confession came to light during her appearance on a talk show hosted by Simi Garewal.
According to reports, Kareena, who was still a newcomer in Bollywood at the time, expressed her admiration for Rahul Gandhi, saying that she would love to meet him as both came from influential families.
When asked who she would choose to date if given the chance, Kareena responded, “I’m not sure if I should say this because it might be controversial, but I would love to date Rahul Gandhi.” She further explained that she found the idea of getting to know him intriguing, as she came from a film family, while he was from a political dynasty. She believed their conversations would be very interesting due to their contrasting backgrounds.
