US President Joe Biden, speaking to the media after the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, stated that the agreement is the result of American diplomacy and efforts. He added that the changing regional situation forced Hamas to agree to the ceasefire.
Biden further stated that the ceasefire agreement presented in May has been advanced in the right direction, and it will continue as long as the negotiations are ongoing.
