WASHINGTON: ( The COW News Digital )– The United States (US) President Donald Trump revealed that the US attacked nuclear sites in Iran early on Sunday.

In a post on his own social media platform, Truth Social, the Republican stated that “we have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear [sic] in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan”

Trump went on to state that “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow”. The US President went on to happily state that “Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE![sic]Thank you for your attention to this matter”.

The strikes targetted the Fordow facility, known for its uranium enrichment activities.

The city of Esfahan is significant for its nuclear and military capabilities, with the Esfahan Nuclear Technology Centre (ENTC) including facilities for uranium conversion, fuel fabrication, and enriched uranium processing, making it an important component of Iran’s nuclear programme.

Israeli strikes on cities across Iran

In the early hours of Sunday, Israeli military reported carrying out strikes on military strikes in southwestern Iran, targetting missile launchers and radar systems.

Israeli officials stated that they will continue their operations until there objectives were met.

Reports of B-2 Bombers moving to Guam

On Saturday, several news outlets had reported that the US was moving its B2 bombers to the Pacific islands of Guam, where the country has a military base.

Trump at that time still had been ambiguous on whether to directly participate in Israeli bombardment of Iran or not.

According to Reuters, the B-2 bombers can carry the GBU-57 Massive Ordinance Penetrator, designed to target deep underground facilities.
