ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (Online): PTI secretary general and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Umar Ayoub Khan has called for constitution of Judicial Commission (JC) with reference to May 9 and November 24 incidents.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif who is guilty in Model Town incident had ordered to open fire on peaceful and unarmed PTI workers.He demanded that all political prisoners including PTI founder be released.He said this while addressing a press conference here Wednesday in parliament house.The application for issuance of production order of Senator Ijaz Chaudhry has been filed in Senate. PTI founder, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other political prisoners be released.
He demanded that JC be constituted with reference to May 9 and November 24 incidents.He held that Khawaja Asif has nothing with him except personal attacks. Government has given no reply to the question of opening fire.Our 12 persons have been killed and over 200 workers are missing.
He alleged that the weapons provided by NATO forces have been used in D Chowk.He remarked that government is standing on sand dune due to form 47. Bullets were fired on armless and innocent citizens in D Chowk.He alleged that people are being arrested for bearing KP address on national identity cards.
He observed matter of Faiz Hameed is their own matter of army. PTI has nothing to do with it. Our PTI workers had every thing to eat but it was not possible to serve food to them during shelling.We had gone from D chowk after it was vacated. Life attempts have been made on me, Ali Amin Gandapur, Bushra Bibi and others several time. Fire was opened under the order of Shehbaz Sharif.Babar Awan advocate said Ejaz Chaudhry is a senator and political leader who has been kept in jail on political basis.
He indicated Shehbaz Sharif was also produced and we had raised no objection. Now it is our demand that production order of Ejaz Chaudhry be also issued.In Javed Hashmi case, the seat of parliament cannot be kept vacant. Supreme Court should take notice of it.It carries no justification to deprive any one of house who is elected with the votes of members of parliament.
He alleged a person has been kept in jail since one and half year in the case where trial has to be conducted within a week as per law.He underscored Gohar Ayoub too had got produced a person from a political family of Sindh . Memorandum has been given to chairman Senate that he should get produce Ejaz Chaudhry.
