LONDON ( The COW News Digital) The United Kingdom rolled out the red carpet for U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday, as King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted a state banquet in his honor at Windsor Castle.

The glittering evening saw the monarch pay tribute to President Trump, commending his efforts in navigating global conflicts and promoting peace. “President Trump’s commitment to peace in a complex world is both admirable and essential,” King Charles remarked during his address to the guests.

In his speech, President Trump hailed the long-standing relationship between Washington and London, calling it a “partnership built on shared values and a proud history.” He described his visit to the UK as “one of the greatest honors of my life.”

Upon arriving at Windsor Castle, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were warmly received by the King and Queen. The ceremonial reception included a Guard of Honor inspection, followed by a spectacular fly-past by the Royal Air Force and a military parade.

This marks Trump’s second official visit to the United Kingdom since assuming office. Officials say the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, with several major investment agreements expected to be signed during the trip.

In addition to the banquet, President Trump is scheduled to meet British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer today. Analysts believe the discussions will focus on trade, defense cooperation, and the ongoing challenges in global security.

The state banquet was attended by senior members of the royal family, top UK government officials, and prominent diplomats, symbolizing the importance of US-UK relations in an era of shifting geopolitical landscapes.
