Washington (Agencies) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has announced plans to carry out the largest deportation in American history after assuming office on January 20, 2025.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has prepared a list of approximately 1.5 million individuals slated for deportation. Notably, the list includes around 18,000 Indian nationals who may face removal from the country.

According to ICE, the deportation initiative is a key component of Trump’s border security agenda. The plan targets undocumented immigrants residing in the United States without proper legal documentation.

Trump’s proposed measures reflect his administration’s hardline stance on immigration, a central theme of his campaign. The move is expected to spark widespread debate and potentially lead to significant political and social repercussions both domestically and internationally.
