A crucial match in the Tri-Nation Series is underway at National Stadium Karachi, where South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan.
The winner of today’s match will advance to the final against New Zealand on February 14.
Pakistan’s playing XI includes Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, Tayyab Tahir, Khushdil Shah, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah, and Abrar Ahmed.
Speaking ahead of the match, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan emphasized the importance of adapting to new conditions. “It’s a new day, and we need to play good cricket. Salman Agha is a capable bowler, and I don’t think we need an extra spinner in the squad,” he stated.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s captain Temba Bavuma revealed that his team has made four changes to the playing XI, with Tony de Zorzi, Heinrich Klaasen, Corbin Bosch, and Keshav Maharaj included in the lineup.
