The tourist season for Naran, a popular hill station, has officially come to an end as authorities have imposed a ban on tourists traveling to Naran and its surrounding areas due to adverse weather conditions and the risk of snowfall.
Deputy Commissioner of Mansehra, Khalid Iqbal, stated that tourists heading to Naran were stopped due to the potential dangers posed by snowstorms and harsh weather. As a result, all tourist destinations in and around Naran, including those further along the route, have been closed to visitors.
However, officials from the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) confirmed that popular tourist spots in Shogran and Balakot would remain open during the winter season. KDA staff will be on hand to assist and ensure the convenience of visitors.
