Pakistani TikTok star and model Erica Haq has accused some influencers of deliberately leaking explicit videos in a bid to gain fame and increase views. In a recent interview, Erica expressed her concerns about the growing trend of influencers using provocative content to grab media and public attention.
She claimed that some TikTokers are intentionally sharing inappropriate videos to gain widespread recognition, especially after the trend of couples’ videos faded. These influencers, Erica argued, have adopted new strategies to stay relevant in the digital world.
While Erica acknowledged that such behavior is not widespread, she pointed out that there have been cases where videos have been intentionally made viral. She also noted that, initially, she thought such incidents were a result of exploitation, but now, it seems some girls are choosing this path themselves.
In contrast, Erica stated that she has never collaborated with a male influencer on videos, and has always preferred to maintain a cautious and responsible social media presence. She emphasized the importance of safeguarding one’s reputation and character on digital platforms.
Recently, several TikTok influencers, including Minahil Malik, Sajal Malik, Samia Hijab, Amsha Rehman, and Aliza Sahir, have been embroiled in leaked explicit video scandals.
