New Delhi: Indian politician and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife, Navjot Kaur, has received a legal notice of 850 crore rupees over claims of treating cancer through food.

The Chhattisgarh Civil Society has sent this notice to Navjot Kaur, demanding that she present evidence of Navjot Singh Sidhu’s claims in court within 7 days. Failure to do so will result in a compensation of 850 crore rupees.

The notice states that Sidhu’s claims could create negative perceptions about allopathic treatment, encouraging cancer patients to stop their medication, which could put their lives in further danger.
