Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon stated that some foreign investors have shown interest in transport-related projects, including a bullet train. Discussions were held about launching a bullet or high-speed train from Karachi to Hyderabad and then from Hyderabad to Sukkur, and the investors expressed enthusiasm for these initiatives.
He also mentioned the skepticism faced when launching the Pink Bus service, yet the project was successfully initiated. Now, they are nearing the launch of the Pink Taxi project as well.
The minister further noted that the Green Line is operational, the Orange Line has been completed, and work on the Red and Yellow Lines is ongoing. He highlighted that delays in BRT projects often occur due to the need to relocate numerous utilities during construction.
