The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has released its list of the world’s 100 most inspiring and influential women, featuring renowned Pakistani singer and social activist Hadiqa Kiani.
Hadiqa Kiani rose to fame in the 1990s with her groundbreaking contributions to Pakistan’s pop music industry. In addition to her musical achievements, she has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
In 2022, Kiani launched the Vaseela-e-Raah initiative to support flood victims in Pakistan. As part of the project, she facilitated the construction of over 300 homes for displaced families in Balochistan, demonstrating her commitment to humanitarian efforts.
