KARACHI: Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has expressed serious concern over the persistent issue of gas load-shedding, calling it a matter of grave urgency.
In a statement, Minister Memon highlighted the severe difficulties faced by the public due to continuous gas shortages. He noted that daily life and industrial activities are being disrupted, with Karachi, Pakistan’s economic hub, and the entire province of Sindh unable to bear the impact of prolonged gas outages. The lack of consistent gas supply has created widespread uncertainty and frustration among the populace.
Memon urged the federal government to take immediate and concrete measures to address this crisis. He emphasized the need to ensure uninterrupted gas supply during the winter months, adding that it is the federal government’s responsibility to guarantee the fair distribution of natural resources.
He called on the Prime Minister and federal authorities to prioritize this issue and take swift action to alleviate the suffering of the people of Sindh.
