Lahore: Former media coordinator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Javed Badr, issued an open letter apologizing to Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Nawaz Sharif for the allegations and criticism he had previously directed at him.

In his letter, Javed Badr acknowledged his past mistakes, admitting that he had made baseless accusations against Nawaz Sharif and damaged his reputation. He requested Nawaz Sharif’s forgiveness, describing his actions as foolish and immature, and emphasized that his apology was made not under any pressure or personal gain, but out of conscience and fear of accountability in the afterlife.

Badr also accepted his role in spreading political toxicity within society and misleading the youth under PTI’s leadership. He admitted to contributing to societal division and apologized not only to the nation but also to the parents of the misled youth.

He condemned the false cases filed against Nawaz Sharif and the unjust imprisonment process. Badr further revealed that he distanced himself from PTI after the appointment of Usman Buzdar as Chief Minister and the corruption allegations against Bushra Bibi.

He accused the PTI government of depleting the national treasury, damaging international relations, and fueling negative sentiments against the military.

Javed Badr praised Nawaz Sharif and his team’s efforts for the stability of Pakistan and commended their role. He expressed a desire to meet Nawaz Sharif personally to confess his mistakes.

This open letter has become a significant topic in political circles, as it not only acknowledges past mistakes but also highlights the negative impacts of past political actions. The letter serves as an example of how political leaders and activists can reflect on their actions and commit to playing a positive role for the nation.
