Stockholm – Salwan Momika, an Iraqi national known for desecrating the Quran multiple times in Sweden, has been shot dead at his residence.
According to international media reports, Momika, who gained notoriety for burning the Quran in 2023, sparked outrage among Muslims worldwide.
Swedish police have confirmed that Momika was fatally shot inside his home. Reports indicate that a Stockholm court was scheduled to announce a verdict in his case today, but the hearing has now been postponed until February 3
