The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) opened on a positive note, while the US dollar continued to rise.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 305 points, reaching 112,559 points during early trading. This comes after a negative session on the previous business day when the index dropped 490 points, closing at 112,253 points.
Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the US dollar appreciated by 3 paisas, trading at Rs. 279.90. The previous day’s session saw the rupee depreciate by 10 paisas, with the dollar closing at Rs. 279.87.
