The Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a positive start to trading, while the exchange rate of the dollar also experienced a decline.
On the fourth day of the business week, the stock market showed an upward trend. At the beginning of the session, the benchmark 100 Index rose by 549 points, reaching a trading level of 113,992.
The market continued its positive momentum, with the index surpassing the 116,000 mark during the session. By the end of the trading day on Wednesday, the index closed at 113,443.
Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the value of the US dollar dropped against the Pakistani rupee. The dollar saw a reduction of 5 paisas, bringing its value down to 278.80 PKR.
