Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has revealed in a recent interview that his co-star Salman Khan once tried to convince him to drink alcohol while shooting for Dabangg. Known for his fitness and healthy lifestyle, Sood has consistently maintained that he does not consume alcohol, as he simply does not enjoy it.
In his interview, Sood recounted an incident where Salman Khan attempted to mix alcohol into his drink during the filming of Dabangg. Despite the gesture, Sood refused to drink the concoction.
The actor explained, “I stay away from alcohol, but many of my co-stars have tried to get me to drink. They would say, ‘Today, you’re going to drink for sure,’ and some even secretly tried to slip alcohol into my glass.”
Laughing about the incident, Sood shared that Salman would jokingly tell him, “Do one thing, put a little alcohol in the Red Bull and bring it to me.” He added that Salman would watch closely to ensure he didn’t pass the drink to someone else.
Sood reflected on how people who enjoy drinking often want others to join in, but he reiterated that he never felt the need for it. “I never needed it,” he said, explaining that alcohol was never a part of his lifestyle.
