Lahore (News Desk) – Federal Minister for Information Ata Tarar has stated that some individuals involved in the May 9th incidents have already been punished, and now it is time for the mastermind to face justice.
Addressing a gathering of PML-N workers in his constituency, Green Town, Lahore, Tarar emphasized that his party does not believe in politics of chaos and division. He reiterated that they are proponents of political dialogue and know how to engage in negotiations, but political terrorism in the country cannot be tolerated.
Tarar described the events of May 9 as an unforgivable crime, asserting that the mastermind behind the attacks will also be punished. He highlighted the destruction of martyrs’ memorials, attacks on national defense installations, and the damage inflicted on the country’s defense system, all of which, according to him, were attempts to fulfill the enemy’s dreams.
The Minister stressed that political parties come second, with Pakistan’s interests being paramount. He questioned why some people target martyrs and urged politicians to settle their differences without disrespecting the nation’s heroes.
He also pointed out that the PML-N government has succeeded in reducing inflation, with all economic indicators showing positive trends, and assured that inflation would continue to decrease while the government works to ease the public’s hardships.
