Peshawar (News Desk): Severe and unannounced Sui gas load shedding continues across several urban areas of the country, making life miserable for citizens. Despite growing concerns, the Sui Gas Department has failed to provide any relief, prompting public outrage and threats of protest.
The harsh winter has doubled the difficulties for residents, especially families with elderly, sick individuals, and children. Homemakers are also facing serious challenges in managing household tasks due to the unavailability of gas.
Reports indicate that many children are being forced to go to school without breakfast, while citizens are resorting to purchasing expensive LPG cylinders to meet their basic needs.
The public has expressed deep frustration and demanded immediate measures to ensure the uninterrupted supply of Sui gas. They have warned that failure to resolve the crisis will leave them with no choice but to take to the streets in protest.
Despite the growing hardships, the gas authorities not only continue to ignore the worsening situation but have also escalated unannounced load shedding, with no accountability in sight.
