Security forces have killed six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan District on reported presence of Khwarij,
According to ISPR press release, on 28 February 2025 security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in general area Ghulam Khan Kalay, North Waziristan District on reported presence of Khwarij. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, as a result of which, six khwarij were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous activities against the security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
President, PM laud security personnel
President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have lauded security forces operation against terrorists in North Waziristan.
The entire nation is thankful to the martyrs for sacrificing their lives in defence of their motherland, the president said in a statement issued by the President House Press Wing. He also lauded the security forces for killing three terrorists during the operation.
PM Shehbaz Sharif in a statement said that the sacrifices of the officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army in war against terrorism will never go in vain. He expressed the determination to completely eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country.
Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has lauded security forces for foiling terrorist design in North Waziristan District and sent six terrorists into hell.
