Pakistani TikToker and TV anchor Sajjal Malik, who recently became the target of a fake obscene video leak, has revealed a family connection with popular actor Imran Ashraf.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Sajjal disclosed that Imran Ashraf is her mother’s cousin, making them close relatives. “Imran is my mother’s cousin and often attends our family gatherings,” she explained.
However, Sajjal was quick to clarify that she has never used this relationship to further her career in media. Interestingly, she also revealed that despite their familial ties, she has never met Imran Ashraf in person or on any professional platform.
“I once messaged him on Instagram and even sent a photo of my mother to remind him of the connection, hoping for support when I wanted to pursue acting,” she said. “He promised to help, but unfortunately, my Instagram account was hacked, and we lost contact.”
Sajjal further shared that her original ambition was to become an actress, but fate had other plans. Her career in anchoring began by chance, eventually turning into a successful journey.
The revelation comes as Sajjal continues to defend herself against a fake, doctored video that recently surfaced online, sparking widespread media attention and public sympathy.
