Pakistani actress and model Saira Yousaf has shared the qualities she seeks in a future partner as she considers a second marriage. In a recent interview, the actress spoke candidly about social pressures, women’s financial independence, and her views on a life partner.
Yousaf highlighted that, in today’s society, the rising divorce rate has led parents to realize that starting a new life immediately after the end of a relationship is not easy. She noted that her own parents now understand this reality. She also mentioned that societal pressure often suggests women need a man’s support in their lives, but people have become more accepting of single mothers.
The actress emphasized the importance of financial independence for women, stating that it had enabled her to make several significant decisions in her life. Yousaf explained that every woman should be independent, as not everyone comes from a strong family background, and financial independence becomes crucial in difficult times.
She also stressed that women should move forward with their children, rather than leaving them behind. When asked about her qualities for a future husband, Yousaf said that the most important thing for her is that the man should be God-fearing.
She clarified what she considers “red flags” in a partner, naming disrespect, coercion in love, and controlling behavior as major flaws in a man.
