Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital after being injured in a robbery attempt at his residence in Bandra.
According to reports, Saif was attacked with multiple knife stabs during the robbery attempt. His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, was seen visiting the hospital, accompanied by security and police personnel.
Saif was discharged following a medical evaluation, and his condition has reportedly improved. Doctors have advised complete rest to ensure his full recovery.
The discharge paperwork was submitted on the night of January 20. During emergency surgery, a knife fragment was removed from near his spine to prevent spinal fluid leakage. The hospital later released an image of the three-inch-long knife fragment.
The unfortunate incident occurred on January 16, 2025, when Saif was injured while attempting to protect his family. The robber, who had already attacked a domestic worker, stabbed Saif, with two wounds close to his spine being particularly serious. The suspect, identified as Muhammad Shehzad, was apprehended by Mumbai Police.
