According to international media reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that Russia is prepared for ceasefire negotiations. Speaking to the media, Putin mentioned that former U.S. President Donald Trump informed him that Ukraine would participate in the talks.
The Russian president noted that he has been briefed on the outcomes of Russia-U.S. discussions and will conduct a high-level review. He added that diplomatic missions will soon resume their activities.
Putin emphasized the need for American and Russian officials to develop an acceptable resolution. He also expressed his willingness to meet with Trump, though preparations for such a meeting have yet to begin.
Furthermore, Putin revealed plans to hold a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the coming days, highlighting the necessity of energy negotiations between Russia, the U.S., and Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he will not “sell” his country. He asserted that Putin would not be allowed to seize Ukraine on his terms and accused Trump of possessing misleading information provided by Russia.
