Riyadh (NNI) – Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh achieved multiple milestones in 2024, including record-breaking passenger numbers and exceptional punctuality, according to a statement by Riyadh Airports Company.
On August 1, the airport set a record for passenger traffic, handling 131,000 travelers in a single day. Additionally, on June 13, it operated 903 flights, marking another operational achievement.
In November 2024, the airport received five prestigious awards for “Customer Focus” at the fifth edition of ARCET Global’s Airport Series. Notably, 86% of its flights departed and arrived on time, earning it the top spot globally for punctuality.
These accomplishments reflect King Khalid International Airport’s commitment to excellence and its pivotal role in enhancing Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector.
