Peshawar: Changes are expected in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet as important decisions are being prepared. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to reshuffle the provincial cabinet. Sources indicate that key decisions will be made after February 8, with a focus on speeding up accountability measures.
Party sources stated that changes in the cabinet will be based on performance and in consultation with PTI founder Imran Khan. Efforts are underway to include long-standing workers in the cabinet and prioritize addressing public issues.
Key Leaders Meet Imran Khan: Inside Details Revealed
PTI founder Imran Khan held a meeting with Atif Khan, Shah Farman, and Junaid Akbar, with internal details now surfacing. According to sources, during the meeting, Imran Khan asked the leaders—both collectively and individually—about the performance of the provincial government and allegations of corruption against ministers.
The three leaders denied confirming the corruption allegations but assured they would investigate and provide details. Imran Khan instructed them to present a complete report in the next meeting.
Atif Khan, speaking to the media, confirmed that discussions revolved around the provincial government’s performance and corruption allegations. However, he clarified that there was no talk of removing the Chief Minister.
On the other hand, rumors about Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation are circulating. Sources have clarified that there is no truth to these rumors.
Commitment to Transparency and Merit
PTI sources stated that the practice of favoritism and bias in decision-making will come to an end. Performance-based decisions will prioritize MPAs, and all matters will be decided in consultation with the party chairman to ensure the resolution of public and worker issues.
