Karachi( The COW News Digital)Pakistani athlete Rashid Naseem has set a new world record for the fastest boxing punches, solidifying his position as one of the greatest record holders in the sport. Rashid broke the previous world record held by England’s Joshua Layala by delivering an astonishing 386 punches in just one minute, surpassing Layala’s 374 punches.

The Guinness World Records has officially confirmed and published Rashid Naseem’s achievement on their website, marking it as his 154th global record. Rashid, renowned for holding the most punch-related world records, dedicated this latest accomplishment to Palestine.

Rashid Naseem has dominated the world of punching records for years. Previously, he set a record by throwing 32,686 punches in one hour, and in that same time frame, he managed over 24,000 punches while holding a one-kilogram weight. His other remarkable records include 675 punches in one minute with a one-kilogram weight, 1,896 punches in three minutes, and 1,778 full-contact punches with a one-kilogram weight — all of which remain unbeaten worldwide.

Recently, Rashid also set a unique record by punching 207 times with one hand while holding an egg, showcasing his exceptional control and precision. Additionally, he holds the record for the highest number of full-extension punches with one hand holding a one-kilogram weight — 163 punches.

Rashid Naseem’s impressive list of individual records not only makes him Pakistan’s top record-breaker but also places him among the world’s most accomplished athletes in punching speed and endurance. He has broken more than 40 records previously held by Indian athletes, demonstrating his dominance in this competitive field.
