Faisalabad – Prime Minister’s political advisor Rana Sanaullah has launched a strong critique of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), accusing the party of repeatedly attacking the federal government while being in power in one province.
Addressing a gathering in Faisalabad, Rana Sanaullah stated that a party in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has launched multiple assaults on the federation. He emphasized that the country was founded on principles of unity and brotherhood, not hatred.
“The party ruling in one province has attacked the federation three times. They have been in power in KP, yet they keep targeting the center,” he said.
The senior PML-N leader also criticized PTI for encouraging hostility in politics, stating that the youth had been taught to abuse political opponents instead of engaging in constructive debates.
“We must end the politics of hatred in this country and promote patience and tolerance in political discourse,” Rana Sanaullah remarked.
He further recalled that when PTI leaders fled from D-Chowk, their vehicles were pelted with sticks, and key figures like Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi abandoned their supporters in a helpless state.
Rana Sanaullah also highlighted PTI’s inability to mobilize a substantial number of supporters in Punjab, suggesting that the people of the province do not appreciate chaos and vulgarity in politics. “In Punjab, PTI couldn’t even gather 10 people. The people here do not support an atmosphere of anarchy and insults,” he added.
The comments reflect ongoing political tensions in the country, with PTI and PML-N continuing to engage in a heated war of words ahead of upcoming political challenges.
