Lahore: Veteran Pakistani actor Afzal Khan, popularly known as Rambo, recently shared an interesting revelation about the expensive wedding lehenga bought for his wife, actress Sahiba.
During a conversation about the rising costs of bridal wear, Rambo explained how wedding outfits now cost millions of rupees, making it increasingly difficult for many people to afford a beautiful bridal dress.
He disclosed that for Sahiba’s wedding, he had purchased a lehenga priced at 75,000 rupees. Interestingly, this same lehenga was worn by three other women in their family during their own weddings, making it a family heirloom of sorts. According to Rambo, the three women have all led happy and successful lives.
Rambo further commented on the nature of bridal wear, saying, “A wedding dress is only worn once, after which it just stays stored and eventually gets ruined. It’s better to pass it on to someone else who can wear it.”
