According to reports, cities including Lahore, Chichawatni, Ferozwala, Gojra, Faisalabad, and others experienced rainfall, while showers also lashed Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, and parts of Azad Kashmir. Several areas faced power outages due to feeder tripping. In Peshawar, heavy rain further intensified the cold weather.
Balochistan also received much-needed rain, with intermittent showers recorded in Quetta and other cities, adding to the chill. Parts of Sindh, including Ghotki, Obaro, and surrounding areas, also witnessed rainfall.
The Meteorological Department has forecasted more rain for Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan today, with the Potohar region expected to experience hailstorms. Authorities have also warned of potential landslides and avalanches in the mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Lahore, overnight rain brought a refreshing change to the weather, with cool winds making the atmosphere even more pleasant. The downpour continues in different parts of the city, and the Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in the next 24 hours.
