The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall in several parts of the country today. According to the forecast, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and their adjacent mountainous areas are likely to experience rain and snowfall.
Fog is expected to persist in most of the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh. Islamabad and its surroundings are expected to remain cold and partly cloudy, while most districts of Punjab are also likely to experience cold and partly cloudy weather. Light rain and snowfall are expected at some places in Murree, Galyat, and surrounding areas.
Rain and snowfall are expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Bajaur, Khyber, Shangla, Buner, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while light rain is possible in Swabi, Mardan, Peshawar, Nowshera, Kohat, Karak, Kurram, and Waziristan.
In Balochistan, most districts are expected to remain cold and cloudy. However, light rain and snowfall are possible at isolated places in Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Ziarat, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Zhob, Barkhan, Loralai, Musa Khel, Kalat, Panjgur, Turbat, Dalbandin, Lasbela, and Nokundi.
The majority of districts in Sindh are expected to remain cold and dry, while Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will experience very cold and cloudy weather, with a possibility of rain and snowfall.
