Skardu ( The COW News Digital) Singer Quratulain Balouch, popularly known as QB, has issued her first official response following a bear attack in Baltistan that left fans deeply concerned about her well-being.
In a statement released on her official Instagram account, QB’s team confirmed that the singer was in Skardu as part of relief efforts for flood-affected communities when the incident occurred. She had been collaborating with Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS) to provide assistance to remote villages hit hard by recent floods.
According to the statement, on the night of September 4, while QB was resting inside a tent during her stay, a brown bear entered the campsite and attacked her. Members of the CDRS team immediately intervened and managed to chase the animal away before further harm could occur.
She was promptly taken to a nearby medical facility where doctors examined her injuries. Medical staff confirmed that she did not sustain any fractures and that her condition was stable. The singer is now on the road to recovery, with doctors reporting steady improvement in her health.
The official statement emphasized that while QB is recovering, she requires complete rest and privacy. Her team appealed to fans and the public to respect her personal space during this difficult time and to keep her in their prayers. They also announced that all of her scheduled public appearances and engagements have been postponed until she has fully regained her strength.
