Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the province’s first and largest business finance scheme, aimed at providing interest-free loans to small and medium-sized enterprises.
In a statement, Maryam Nawaz announced that over 84 billion rupees have been allocated for the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Scheme, while 48 billion rupees have been earmarked for the Chief Minister’s Easy Business Card Scheme.
Under the new Punjab Easy Business Finance Scheme, a total of over 36 billion rupees will be provided as interest-free loans, ranging from 1 million to 30 million rupees. The loans will be repayable in easy installments over five years.
The initiative is designed to help boost local businesses and promote entrepreneurship by making financing more accessible for small business owners.
