The signal-free corridor plan involves the construction of two underpasses on a 6-way road from Karim Block to the motorway, and is expected to significantly improve traffic flow in the area . Additionally, the Chief Minister approved the commercialization of various roads in Lahore and directed the early completion of sports complexes at Minar-e-Pakistan and China Scheme.
The launch of the tram service is expected to provide a convenient and affordable mode of transportation for the people of Lahore, and is part of the government’s efforts to improve public transport in the city . The tram service will be operated by the LDA, and the administration is expected to announce the launch date and ticket prices soon .
The Chief Minister also directed the LDA to complete the process of sifting and checking of records as soon as possible, and reviewed a proposal to commercialize various important roads in the city.
