Sheikhupura : Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has termed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) conditions for negotiations with the government as incomprehensible and impractical.
Speaking to the media during the inauguration of a water filtration scheme in Sheikhupura, the minister said that fulfilling PTI’s demands is not feasible, adding that the public will not support PTI’s civil disobedience movement. He criticized PTI’s leadership, stating that all actions stem from the directives of its founder, who is ultimately responsible for the party’s decisions.
Commenting on the recent martyrdom of Rangers personnel, Hussain expressed confidence in the judiciary to deliver verdicts in accordance with the law.
Highlighting the importance of farmers in the country’s economic progress, the PML-N leader said that PTI’s anti-farmer policies had caused significant harm to the agriculture sector. He assured that the government is working tirelessly to improve farmers’ welfare, mentioning that the Punjab government is offering subsidies of up to Rs. 1 million for tractor procurement to support the agricultural community.
