PTIs Barrister Gohar Confident of Clean Sweep in Islamabad Municipal Elections

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has announced that his party will participate in the upcoming municipal elections in Islamabad and is confident of a “clean sweep”. Speaking to the media outside the Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) on Monday, Gohar urged PTI candidates to submit their nomination papers in large numbers for the municipal elections.

Gohar expressed confidence that PTI would secure a sweeping victory, citing the party’s growing popularity and commitment to addressing the concerns of the people of Islamabad. He also criticized the recent relief in electricity prices in Punjab, calling it “insufficient” and arguing that electricity prices should be reduced for everyone on a permanent basis.

Gohar also expressed disappointment over a recent Supreme Court decision regarding four constituencies, saying that PTI’s concerns were not heard and valid votes were rejected. He hoped that the Election Commission would address their concerns.

The PTI chairman’s confidence in a clean sweep comes as the party prepares to face off against other political parties in the municipal elections. The elections will be a test of PTI’s popularity and ability to deliver on its promises.
