Peshawar : The ongoing protests by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have brought life to a standstill in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, leaving residents effectively confined to their homes. Intense tear gas shelling has heightened fear and unease among the populace, as the situation in Islamabad grows increasingly tense.

Citizens of the twin cities are enduring significant hardships due to the protests, which have persisted for two days. Educational institutions remain closed, public transport hubs have been shut down, and routine activities have come to a halt. These disruptions have not only hindered movement but also created logistical challenges in the supply of essential goods.

The persistent clashes between PTI protestors and law enforcement have added to the public’s frustration. Roadblocks and protest camps set up across key routes have worsened traffic congestion, leaving commuters stranded and exacerbating their difficulties.

The protests have also cast a shadow of uncertainty, impacting businesses and curtailing economic activity in the area. Concerned citizens are urging both the government and protestors to resolve the situation amicably to restore peace and allow daily life to return to normal.

Calls for dialogue and mutual understanding continue to grow louder, as residents hope for a swift resolution to ease their suffering and ensure stability in the region.
