Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiation committee has been granted permission to meet the party’s founder, Imran Khan, for consultations regarding their demands.
Sources confirmed that the committee is scheduled to meet with Imran Khan, and if they are unable to visit Adiala Jail today, the meeting is likely to take place on Monday or Tuesday. The committee will discuss their demands with the former prime minister during the meeting.
There are also reports suggesting that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur may attend the meeting as well.
Yesterday, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah stated in an interview on ARY News’ program ‘Aitraaz Hai’ that the PTI negotiation committee should have a meeting with the party’s founder. He anticipated that the meeting with Imran Khan would likely occur on Saturday or Monday.
He also mentioned that negotiations are ongoing and emphasized that negative statements should be avoided during this process. Rana Sanaullah further noted that it would have been better if PTI had presented written demands during the previous round of talks.
