PTI MNAs Granted Bail in NOC Violation and Police Attack Cases

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has granted bail to all Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs arrested in cases related to NOC violation and police attack. The court ordered their immediate release, directing them to submit surety bonds of Rs30,000 each.

Court Expresses Displeasure over Absence of Case Records

During the hearing, the prosecutor informed the court that the investigating officer was occupied in the Islamabad High Court, prompting Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain to express displeasure and adjourn the hearing until the case records were produced.

Prosecutor Argues Against Bail

The prosecutor argued that the provisions imposed in the case carry a minimum punishment of three years, and bail should not be granted. However, the court granted bail to the PTI MNAs due to the absence of case records.

PTI Leaders Face Terrorism-Related Charges

The PTI leaders, including Sher Afzal Marwat, Sheikh Waqas, and others, are facing terrorism-related charges in cases registered at various police stations. The cases pertain to NOC violation and attacks on police personnel.
