Mardan: Junaid Akbar, the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has admitted that there are multiple factions within the party.
Speaking to party workers in Mardan, Akbar stated that he is willing to call a spade a spade, and if PTI founder Imran Khan does not listen to what is right, he will step down from his position as president.
“I will not allow thieves in the party,” he said, acknowledging the presence of various groups within PTI. Akbar also claimed that on February 8, Pakistan’s mandate was stolen.
He expressed his willingness to engage in discussions with institutions, adding, “If one hand is extended, we will extend two hands in return. We have made mistakes in the past, and now we are facing the consequences.”
He further remarked that this is the first government in history that was forcefully handed over power, and emphasized that while they understand the language of decency, they will not hesitate to respond with force if provoked.
