Islamabad : Federal Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik has emphasized the need for dialogue to reduce political polarization in the country, stating that without negotiations, the current situation will persist.
Speaking on a private TV program, Musadik Malik referred to the events of May 9, where memorials of martyrs were set ablaze, and said, “If the PTI founder is innocent, the courts will decide and release him.” He stressed that the only way to reduce tensions is for all stakeholders to sit together and engage in meaningful dialogue.
“Without dialogue, political polarization will remain unchanged,” Malik reiterated. He also referred to the tragic APS incident, describing it as a wound that may never heal. “After the APS tragedy, all political parties came together. That unity demonstrated how national crises can be resolved collectively,” he added.
Responding to a question, Musadik Malik urged the PTI founder to change his attitude for the greater good of the nation. “I completely agree that we need to sit down and talk,” he concluded.
