Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed a criminal complaint in Islamabad’s District Court against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and several key officials, seeking legal action over the alleged use of force during the November 24 protest.
The complaint, filed through Barrister Gohar, names Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, and Information Minister Atta Tarar as respondents. Senior police officials, including the Inspector General (IG), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), and Deputy Inspector General (DIG), are also cited in the case.
The petition, prepared by Sardar Latif Khosa, includes details of 38 injured PTI workers and 139 missing individuals. It requests the court to summon the accused and initiate criminal proceedings against them. Additionally, two ministers and two members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly have been listed as witnesses.
