The internal details of the PTI core committee meeting have emerged, revealing that Fawad Chaudhry came under strong criticism during the session. According to Salman Akram Raja, Fawad Chaudhry has become a self-proclaimed spokesperson for PTI founder Imran Khan. Raja stated that Fawad only has brief meetings with Imran Khan and should not impose his opinions on others within the party.
Barrister Gohar also spoke at the meeting, reiterating that Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, had made it clear that the party is open to negotiations with anyone, including Mohsin Naqvi. Gohar added that PTI would not name any judges in the Judicial Commission meeting, and the terms of reference (TORs) would be agreed upon first. He further clarified that judges who had made decisions against Imran Khan in the past would not be supported by PTI in the Judicial Commission.
The PTI also expressed lack of confidence in Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Aamir Farooq, as Imran Khan had issues with him. The meeting confirmed that no individuals associated with Chief Justice Aamir Farooq would be named in the Judicial Commission.
Salman Akram Raja conveyed the message from Imran Khan to the core committee members, emphasizing that the party would not forget the PTI workers who lost their lives on November 26. Imran Khan has directed the party leadership to raise their voices on every forum for these martyrs and to retweet tweets made through the official social media handles.
Imran Khan also stated that PTI would work with the opposition, ensuring a unified approach moving forward.
