Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his warm felicitations to the nation and the Ummah on the occasion of the new Islamic year 1446 Hijrah. In a message, the Prime Minister prayed for peace, stability, progress, and prosperity for both Pakistan and the global Muslim community.
The Prime Minister also prayed for relief for Muslims facing atrocities worldwide, particularly in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine. He expressed his hope for an end to oppression and the dawn of peace, progress, and prosperity in these regions.
The Prime Minister drew inspiration from the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions, who stood firmly against oppression and injustice. He emphasized the importance of upholding the values of truthfulness, justice, sympathy, and unity, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and his companions.
The Prime Minister stressed the need for tolerance, mutual respect, and shunning of differences to create a society based on social justice, equality, and sympathy. He encouraged the nation to lead a life in accordance with Islamic teachings and work together for a brighter future for Pakistan.
Noting the economic challenges faced by the country, the Prime Minister expressed optimism about Pakistan’s economic progress and reiterated his commitment to making life easier for the common man, providing equal opportunities, and driving the country towards progress and prosperity.
