Washington( The COW News Digital)US President Donald Trump has said that he would move to end the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, as he asserted that he was “good at solving wars”, saying that the Israel-Hamas ceasefire was the “eighth war” resolved during his presidency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As Pakistan and Afghanistan exchanged heavy fire over the weekend, Trump, speaking aboard Air Force One before his arrival in Israel on a peace mission on Monday, said he had been briefed on the fierce clashes that erupted along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

“This will be my 8th war that I have solved,” he said, referring to the Israel-Hamas war. “…And I hear there is a war now going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan,” Trump said. “I said, I’ll have to wait until I get back. I’m doing another one because I’m good at solving. I’m good at wars. I’m good at making peace,” he said.

The President went on to say that his diplomatic efforts were driven by humanitarian goals rather than personal recognition, referencing the Nobel Peace Prize. “It’s an honour to do it. I save millions of lives,” Trump said.

“In all fairness to the Nobel Committee, it was for 2024. And this was picked for 2024. But there are those who say you could make an exception, because a lot of things happened during 2025 that are done and complete and great. But I did this not for the Nobel. I did this to save lives. I mean, we’ve saved millions of lives,” the US President said.
